5 Star LodgeDay 0: Arrival At Arusha – Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge

Our guide will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) Or Arusha Airport (ARK) and take

you to our office in Arusha. You will be briefed regarding your safari and finalize your payment if you did

not fully pay. After wards you can have the Arusha town tour for on hour or more and the driver will

drive you to Coffee Lodge

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

On this day you will wake up early in the morning. After your breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by the driver/guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe. It’s possible that you will catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above. After a full day in the park, you will drive back to 5 Star Lodge, where

you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner and have an overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater National Park

Today you will wake up very early and head to Ngorongoro from the Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge to do an morning game drive and spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sunrise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savanna is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. You will then travel to Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, and a soda lake that from the top looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. After a full day game drive, we expect to be back in Arusha around 6:00 pm although we can be flexible if needed (i.e. flight to catch). After long day in the crater and drive back to Arusha you will spend the night at Coffee Lodge.
