Dans l'ensemble, ça reste un bon souvenir parce que c'était mon premier safari. Cependant, je déplore le manque de communication avec les responsables de l'agence. Aucune coordination avec les guides. Je devais avoir un guide francophone mais en vain. C'était pourtant ma première requête et la raison pour laquelle j'avais choisi cette agence, elle ne respecte pas ses engagements. Ceci dit, le ou la responsable était parfois arrangeant. Mais je ne savais jamais avec qui je dialogais via WhatsApp, aucun suivi des échanges précédents. Quant au guide, il roulait trop vite sur les pistes, des membres du groupe et moi-même étions souvent blessés en tombant, pendant que nous prenions des photos ou filmions, j'étais couverte d'hématomes en fin de journée, c'est inadmissible ! Je regrette de lui avoir donné un gros pourboire. Et je ne parle même pas des hébergements dans les lodges et hôtels où il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude. Ormi la dernière journée où l'on m'avait changé de chambre. Points positifs, j'ai découvert un peuple humble, souriant et accueillant, une nature brute luxuriante et une diversité de la faune sauvage.

 Verified Great Machame Climb with perfect team
We hab a great one time in life experience with Moraka Safari. The 7 day climb was perfectly organized, we had a wonderful crew with great, friendly and helpful porters, two very experienced guides and a fife star cook with us. Communication was always ideal, quick and constructive suggestions and answers before the climb and during the climb. The guides always acted very prudent, they explained a lot, they organized every day according to our needs and interests, so we all four in the group succeeded and reached healthy and extremely happy and proud the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Bib big thanks to Latipher, Hasan and Sunday for this outstanding experience, you were all just perfect!

 Verified 5 Day Safari and Kilimanjaro attempt
Hi, my name is Stephen and a few days ago I undertook both a safari and a Kilimanjaro climb with Moraka Safari. Moraka arrange everything for me, including accommodation in Arusha and Moshi before between and after each part of the trip, and drivers foreach part, including pick up and drop off at the airport. The safari was a five-day series of trips into the Serengeti and other national parks, including Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara and involved both Lodges and camping overnight. We even visited a Maasai village! A varied group of different people were teamed together for each part, lead by a specific guide for each national park. We were safely but closely shown almost all imaginable animals (Giraffe, Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Zebra, Wildebeast, Monkeys, Baboons, Hippos , birds of many types etc) in their natural setting, including around the campsites. There were no lions at the campsite... or were there! There were definitely some rustling of tents, and buffalo were seen by one of the team in night. Overall, the safari was excellent, well organised and expertly run by experienced guides. I have no hesitation in recommending Moraka Safari and this tour. But wait, there’s more. Moraka Safari also organised the climb for me in a small group, each client with a guide and a team including a few porters and a cook. My guide was Emannuel, who forged a lasting friendship with me in his attempt to keep me moving on this gruelling 5 day climb on the Marangu route. Alas, I wasn’t fit enough to finish, only reaching the Horombo hut – only 2000m elevation gain in 2 days! I will be back for another try after some targeted fitness training (this time I know what I’m up against) over the next 12 months and I will certainly be asking Moraka Safaris to arrange it for me! I did a 2 days safari trip from Arusha in Tanzania and it was absolutely amazing! Stunning nature, incredible wildlife, and everything was perfectly organized. A huge thanks to Latipher for the excellent service, smooth bookings, and constant communication before and during the trip. Truly professional and made my adventure stress-free. Viaje desde Colombia , Fue un viaje espectacular , Latipher estuvo muy pendiente desde el inicio de mi viaje hasta el último momento en el aeropuerto, Tanzania es un excelente destino para viajeros solos, ya que encontrarás muchos amigos , la pasé increíble . Latipher me ayudó para que mi guía hablara español por lo cual estoy muy agradecida , el chef , la comida, el hotel y el campamento están muy bien .  Verified Wow!!! What an experience!!
What an exceptional experience! I booked the tour looking for something that was good value and not a tourist trap. Moraka Safaris completely exceeded my expectations. Everything was well organised, the food exceptional and wow did we see animals!! We saw the full big 5 except for a leopard. I come from South Africa where we have many game parks - this blew them all away.

Nous avons vécu une expérience absolument incroyable lors de notre safari en Tanzanie ! L’organisation de l’agence a été impeccable du début à la fin. Notre guide était non seulement très professionnel, mais aussi très passionné par la faune et la flore, ce qui a rendu notre aventure encore plus enrichissante. Les paysages étaient à couper le souffle, et nous avons eu la chance d’observer une grande variété d’animaux dans leur habitat naturel. Chaque moment du safari a dépassé nos attentes.  Verified Amazing trip and experience thanks to Moraka
I am not usually writing reviews, but we had such a great experience with Moraka Safari that it is with pleasure that we warmly recommend them. Latipher has been excellent at meeting all our expectations including when we faced issues with flights. Our guide was outstanding: if you need a good, experienced driver, who is fun and knows well the area, ask for Joseph: he is just outstanding and speak both French and English. This was truly an amazing trip and Moraka made a real difference!

While other tours operators do the safari themselves, this company freelances out. I think I checked IG pictures before I went and even on there it's very deceptive - you're put on tour with other operators and therefore are at the risk of having an itinerary that may disadvantage you and no way to resolve any issues. I unfortunately encountered this and my trip was cut short with no compensation. In addition to this other tours operators were much cheaper (500 euros, for 3 days safari, including lodge and 3 meals a day). Very disappointed as I did not get what I paid for, and they pose ni resolutions.

The Hotel where you can stay the night before and after is on a high Standard and the Terrace has a amazing view over the City and to the Mount Meru.

Everything was organized perfectly and contact with Lathiper was extraordinary. Game drive was amazing, I had high expectations but it was way better than I expected.
Lathiper also organized Kili hike for me which was as good as the safari.
Moreover she help me with many other things like bus tickets, sim card etc.
People from Moraka were extremaly helpful and they were willing to help even once the safari I hike were over. Highly recommend this company!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My fiance and I went on a 5-day budget safari tour with Moraka Africa Safaris and everything went perfectly. Even if the whole organization of the safari was last minute for us, Latipher was extremely patient and attentive and followed us from the beginning to the end of the trip, always making sure that everything was great. Due to the smaller number of tourists in that period, the agency was able to negotiate so that we slept in lodges instead of tents 3 of the 4 nights of the trip, which was a very pleasant surprise. They also organized a surprise birthday cake for me and gave us a bottle of local wine, which was very kind too. Our guide, Freddie, is super careful and attentive, and our cook, Abdullah, makes magic in the kitchen. The meals (always hot) were really delicious and generous. Regarding to the national parks (we did Tarangeri, Serengetti, Ngorongoro and Manyara), they are just wonderful. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Thank you a lot for everything!
